There are plenty of events and activities on for young ones that amongst the mayhem, we often tend to miss. Here’s Elke’s pick of the top four events on around Australia during the months to come.
1. Disney Live! Mickey’s Magic Show is running through December and January. The show’s being hosted in Perth, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Woolongong and Adelaide so it’s more than likely that there’s a show nearby. Jump onto google to find out the venue for your particular city and make a quick booking so you don’t miss the boat.
2. The Steadfast Tin Soldier is a classic story brought to life with a live art performance. A German puppet theatre company combines modern painting and live theatre to create a show that will leave children spellbound! It’s running at the Sydney Opera House over two days (9-10th November). Here’s a link to book tickets ‘Sydney Opera House‘.
3. With an exhibition featuring 40 black and white prints, artist Greg Sugden pulls together art & science as a way of revealing a modern take on the big bang theory. The exhibition (THINK BIG) will be held at Scienceworks Museum, Melbourne and hopes to engage children in a combination of both science and art.
4. Adelaide Zoo is hosting a Halloween party called Boo at the Zoo! It’s back this year by popular demand and will be held on Thursday the 31st of October.
